The second steering committee of the programme took place on February 5th, 2009 at Chichester (West Sussex County Council). 15 new projects were approved in addition to the 10 first ones dating back to the steering committee of October 2nd, 2008. More than 22 million euros have been programmed by the last steering committee.

The trend that has been noticed following the first steering committee seems to be confirmed: projects are ambitious! For instance, the project named "DocExplore" presents itself as a scoping project which objective is to lead to the development of a three year project bringing in the Archives ans Museums as formal project partners. As for project "DIESE", it builds and expands on the previous Interreg III franco-british project named RAED, but with enlarged partnership and area covered! To sum up the current situation of the programme: the whole granting programmed for these 25 projects step across 33 millions euros which reprensents 19,19% of the overall budget.

What about the distribution per priority? 3 projects for priority n°1, 9 for n°2, 7 for n°3, and 6 for n°4.
